Beefjack Scores High in Tech City’s Startup Games

Good news! Beefjack ended up in the top 20 companies out of over 200 in the startup competition.

Many speeches were given by the deputy mayor of business and enterprise as well as several leading businesses about how London is a great place to be for the emerging tech market.

Most of the of the contest was like a game show in which each company spent a theoretical £1,000,000 in investing in other companies, while the others invested in ours. Then each investment is compensated by how well each company’s pitch was. So in the end, the company’s worth is dependent on how good your investments were and how much others invested in you.

Of course, Beefjack performed exceptionally, achieving over £50,000,000 from its original investment and ranking within the top 20 out of more than 200 competitors. Congratulations Beefjack! You’re among the the top startup companies in the world!

All in all I really like this game because it’s refreshing and different from most of the puzzles games out there. Additionally it feels like a platformer game in disguise so there is definitely a lot to enjoy and a bit more depth than your typical physics puzzle. Did I mention you can Rewind time?
