Flash, HTML5 and Mobile

Hi there Beefjackers!

Recently, there’s been some debacle about people using Flash or HTML5 in different mobile platforms.

Flash

Android

Flash on AndroidOn Android platforms, there have been some issues concerning Adobe Flash Player. A recent update called Jelly Bean has made the Android Flash Player quite buggy, so it has been removed from the Google Play Marketplace. This has occurred in spit of its popularity; the  flash player is among the most downloaded  and best rated apps on the Google Play store.



iOS

Unfortunately, the news for Flash on iOS is even worse. Apple has decided to forgo the use of Flash, even for its video player, opting to go with one based on HTML5 instead, so as to increase battery life and improve security. Things are looking even more dreadful for Flash as even Adobe is looking down on the idea of using it for mobile apps.

What about Beefjack?

Well, Beefjack is ahead of the curve, as we are expert developers in both Flash and HTML5, so whatever the outcome, we’re on top =)

All in all I really like this game because it’s refreshing and different from most of the puzzles games out there. Additionally it feels like a platformer game in disguise so there is definitely a lot to enjoy and a bit more depth than your typical physics puzzle. Did I mention you can Rewind time?
