PINGAS

Hello again BeefJackers!
As mentioned in the previous post about Eurogamer Expo, BeefJack had a chance to go to this year’s Eurogamer expo. It was a whole lot of fun as there were tonnes of new games there and the queues were very short. You usually didn’t have to wait for long to play a game, and while you’re waiting you can always have a look and see how to play by seeing what the people in front of you are doing.
There were all sorts of games there, from the million FPS sequels to the latest artsy indie games; but in my opinion, the part that stole the show was being able to play the Wii U. To give you my honest opinion, at first look it seems like a gimmick, but once you get your hands on it, it blows your mind. The retro corner was also a sight to behold: there were over 30 old school consoles to play, most of which I’ve never seen in person before. I never thought I was ever going to get a chance to play Hotel Mario on the CDi any time this year. So if that’s the kind of stuff that floats your boat, then rest assured, it was lots of fun.
After the event, we all came together to have some Friday drinks, both the News people and the Studio folks coming together for some random re-weekend fun.
Till next time!
