Case Study: Game Development for Events

A major marketing agency approached us with a game design and development task – make a touchscreen-TV application for their client, Cadbury. There was just one problem: we only had seven days in which to do it… Cadbury wanted a some game to promote their confectionery at the Olympic Festival on Hyde Park, ahead of Summer 2012′s London Games. They asked us to create a simple puzzle game as part of an interactive installation within Cadbury House, their branded area of the event. But time was running short, and our deadline was just seven days away. So we pulled out all the…

Case Study: Dr Braaains!

Case Study: Dr Braaains! The Brief This project was a little bit different, and an interesting case. Rather than being paid to create a finished game, the aim of the project was to simply create and pitch the concept for a game. The client had a firm idea of what they wanted, but was looking to us to put a unique twist on it. We were contacted by a lady called Isabel with a request we hadn’t heard before:…

Hot Tub Heist is fun game with a simple mechanic - just go down. The characters and themes make it stand out, with a nice mix of humor and fun gameplay. Congratulations BeefJack Studios! Colin Cupp - MochiMedia
Great work! Dietrich Charisius - ArtOfBytes
Very pleased with the work produced, would be very happy to go back to them. All around extremely pleased - would rate very highly! Max Viale-Sole
All in all I really like this game because it’s refreshing and different from most of the puzzles games out there. Additionally it feels like a platformer game in disguise so there is definitely a lot to enjoy and a bit more depth than your typical physics puzzle. Did I mention you can Rewind time? Give Nimball:Rewind a try [...] I fully recommend this game. Ushin - Bored.Com
...action fans will find Hot Tub Heist soaks up a coffee break quite nicely. Tricky - JayIsGames.Com
